The Sindhi Federation of Bangalore conducts the annual Cheti-Chand or Sindhi New Year celebration – HO-JAMA-LO. The event is highly appreciated by the entire community and well attended by over a thousand people.
The purpose of the event is to keep Sindhi traditions alive and bring the community together. The celebrations include something for everyone – games and competitions for children, singing and plays for the adults and traditional Sindhi food for everyone.
